Leaving an IMMPact on Our Community

Building a community is more than just constructing buildings. Building a community requires being an active participant within the community. As a company we support 58 non-profit organizations, provide paid internships, and support our employees’ causes both monetarily and by giving them the opportunity to volunteer during work hours.

Our Ohio office has partnered with the Vineyard Community Center and Columbus City Schools to create the 1 Child 1 Community Program. With the help of Governor John Kasich’s Community Connectors grant, we are able to give more Ohio students access to role models who can help motivate and inspire them, as well as help them develop skills that lead to success in school and the workplace. Together, our team has partnered with five local schools and set up mentorship programs and committees to help assist the schools’ principals with their initiatives.

As members of our communities, we can have the biggest impact on the future by empowering our youth to be the leaders we will need to continue to grow as strong, innovative cities!

Community

Our Charlotte North Carolina office has partnered with Communities in Schools (CIS). By determining students’ needs and surrounding them with a community of support through relationships established with local businesses, social services agencies, health care providers, faith communities, and civic and other volunteer organizations, CIS makes it possible for many of Charlotte’s most vulnerable students to focus on their education; chart their course through elementary, middle, and high school; and ultimately make plans for college, a vocation, and/or a career.

As members of our communities, we can have the biggest impact on the future by empowering our youth to be the leaders we will need to continue to grow as strong, innovative cities!
